Swakopmund: Armed Robbery/House breakingl
It is reported that, on 26 February 2017, between 01:00 and 02:00, at Volkwagen 30klm from Swakopmund, between Swakopmund and Hentiesbay.
It is alleged that (5) five unknown black n/m armed with knives stormed into the house and held the couple in the house at knives points.
KHOMAS REGION: Wanaheda Police Station: Murder
On Thursday, 28th July 2016, at about 05h20, at Havana Informal Settlement, a body of 28 years old man was found naked in a riverbed. It is suspected that the deceased was murdered. The deceased was identified as Hifikepunye Ndalandelwamo (N/Male, 28 years of age)
No suspect has been arrested; Police investigations into the matter are ongoing. The next of kin of the deceased are already formally informed.
OSHANA REGION: Ondangwa Police Station: Armed Robbery
On Friday, 29th July 2016, at about 16h20, at Ondangwa Oluno Magic Discount Store, the manager (N/Male, 54 years) was held at gun point and robbed cash amount of N$ 122 000-00.
It is alleged that, the victim went to collect money from another shop to come pay the employees and when he arrived at the shop premises with the container of money, found two males persons seated outside the shop door and one of them pointed the victim with a Pistol and robbed the victim a container of money containing cash amount of N$ 122 000-00 that was meant to come pay the employees.
The suspects fled with a getaway sedan vehicle and are still at large. Police investigations into the matter continue.
ERONGO REGION: Kuisebmund Police Station: Armed Robbery
On Friday, 29th July 2016, at about 18h10, at Butcher City, at the corner of Agaat and Nathanael Maxwilili Street, three men of which two were armed with Pistols entered the shop shortly after it closed and employees were busy counting the business money and held employees at gun point and demanded for the to surrender all the money.
The suspects managed to stole cash amount of N$ 22 869-70, and three cellphones valued at N$ 5599-95 and flee the premises. All suspects are still at large; Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
